BNB Chain publishes technical parameters for a planned high-speed Layer-1 network

BNB Chain released technical parameters for a planned Layer-1 network that would run alongside BNB Smart Chain. According to the published figures, blocks would arrive every 200 ms, and transactions would receive a preliminary confirmation in about 20 ms. The network targets high-frequency trading, payments and operations carried out by AI agents.

The design has no separate token. Transaction fees, staking and governance would all rely on BNB, so activity on the new chain would add to usage of the existing asset instead of splitting it across a second one.
