Until now the fast-format contracts were limited to crypto. One report says Polymarket's 5- and 15-minute crypto contracts have already generated more than $11 billion in trading volume. CoinMarketCap reported that LINK gained 4.7% in the session when the news appeared. The effect on the token is indirect: if more market categories rely on Chainlink data, oracle usage and demand for related fees could grow.
