Binance sees $3.64 billion leave the exchange after withdrawals reopen following hack
Clients took out about $3.64 billion from Binance within less than ten hours of the platform restoring withdrawals after the hack. The scale of the exodus bears on the exchange's liquidity and on user trust, which may weigh on BNB.

Binance's press service said on X that customers moved roughly $3.64 billion off the platform across a 9.5-hour window that began when payouts became available again after the attack.
According to the exchange, the net outflow amounts to 2.1% of total client holdings, which it puts at $171 billion. It added that the pace of withdrawals has slowed since an early surge, suggesting the first rush of demand may be fading.
Other reports put the breach at $6.3 billion and say transfers of XRP, Bitcoin and Ethereum are being restored. Those details are less firmly established in the available reports than the outflow figures Binance itself published.
Large withdrawals reduce the balances an exchange holds and can dent confidence in it. BNB is closely tied to the Binance ecosystem, so sentiment toward the exchange often carries over to the token. A continued slowdown in withdrawals would ease that pressure.
